Facebook Look no further! The Redbridge Cycling Club has been based in this area since 1972 and  we welcome new members. We are now based and are working in partnership with Redbridge Cycling Centre at Hog Hill in Hainault.

THE NEXT CLUB NIGHTS ARE
Tuesday 6th January 2015.  Social evening at North Weald Village Hall. 8.30 pm onwards.
Monday 12th January 2015. Redbridge Cycle Centre 6.30 – 7.30 Turbo Training (see below for details) followed by ‘Assembling Alison’s Road Bike‘.  The second of several Monday night presentations where we assemble a bike ready for the 2015 season.

Saturday LADIES ONLY RIDE,  09.15.  Saturday the 10th January.  Non-members welcome.

TURBO TRAINING SESSIONS:  Every Monday evening January 5th – March 16th 2015.  Bring with you your own turbo trainer, two towels, waterproof sheet on which to place bike and turbo trainer, drink bottle. To get the most out of the turbo training we recommend your bike and turbo trainer is equipped with a cadence computer.   £3.00 per session.   
RAtherton2We have weekly Sunday Social Rides all year and a 40 mile Saturday morning Training ride. We have a comprehensive Club Time Trial programme providing events from early March to mid-October at varying distances. There is also a Mountain Bike Ride through Epping Forest every Saturday morning.

The Club promotes Social events and an Annual Dinner, Dance and Prize Presentations in February. Membership details can be found HERE!

IMPORTANT:  It is expected that participants on our club rides wear an approved hardshell helmet. AND HAVE WITH THEM THE FOLLOWING:  Pump, spare Inner tube with correct valve length, tyre levers, puncture outfit, lightweight tool kit. Boxing Day Ride
Meet 09.30 Chigwell Row (Redbridge Cycling Centre Closed).  Mid Essex Area 40 miles. Optional stop in Moreton to see the annual tug-of-war competition across Cripsey Brook.
Saturday 27th December 2014.
Training Ride.  Depart 09.30 Redbridge Cycling Centre.  Same 40 mile route every Saturday.
Sunday 28th December 2014. 
Bronze Ride   Short Ride to the Bake House, Cooks Mill Green. 38 miles
Silver Ride    Long Ride to the Bake House, Cooks Mill Green.  55 miles.
New Year’s Day Ride.
Meet 10.00 am Chigwell Row (Redbridge Cycling Centre Closed)  to Blackmore to see the Morris Dancing outside the Leather Bottle. 30 – 40  miles.
Saturday Morning Mountain Bike Rides in Epping Forest
Meet at the north end of Buckhurst Hill High Street (A121) adjacent the cricket pitch, which if travelling north towards Loughton is on your left after passing the Hawsted turning and immediately before the road begins to drop down a fairly steep hill and two 40mph sign posts. (post code IG9 5SS). Parking available.
Leave 9.00am sharp. 2 – 2 1/2 hours Steady riding mainly on bridle paths and tracks. No ‘mad downhilling’. All riders are expected to wear hard shell helmets.
