Look no further! The Redbridge Cycling Club has been based in this area since 1972 and we welcome new members. We are now based and are working in partnership with Redbridge Cycling Centre at Hog Hill in Hainault.
THE NEXT CLUB NIGHTS ARE
Tuesday 21st April. Social evening at North Weald Village Hall. 8.30 pm onwards.
Monday 27th April. Redbridge Cycling Centre. 6.00 pm onwards: group riding on the circuit followed by social evening at 8.00 pm. Open Question Forum ‘What do you want from your club?’ 8.30 – 9.45.
Club clothing will be available for trying on and purchase. We will also have details of the new supplier of club clothing (with the new design approved by British Cycling).

IMPORTANT: It is expected that participants on our club rides wear an approved hardshell helmet. AND HAVE WITH THEM THE FOLLOWING: Pump, spare Inner tube with correct valve length, tyre levers, puncture outfit, lightweight tool kit. Saturday 18th April.. Training Ride Usual 40 mile circuit and 30 mile circuit for those less fit. Leave Redbridge Cycling Centre 09.30.
Sunday 19th April.. Departure time 09.15. Redbridge Cycling Centre.
Bronze Ride. Short ride to Writtle Tea Rooms (opposite Writtle College). 45 miles.
Silver Ride. Long ride to Writtle Tea Rooms (opposite Writtel College) 50 – 55 miles
Probably No Gold Ride: Most Gold riders will be in the club 25 mile time trial which starts on the A1060 just west of Writtle.
Early Ride Out to the club 25 mile time trial at Leaden Roding. Meet Chigwell Row 06.50 for 07.00 departure. Distance is 19.5 miles to the start of the event near Writtle (Course E9/25) on the A1060. First rider off 09.00.
Saturday Morning Mountain Bike Rides in Epping Forest
Meet at the north end of Buckhurst Hill High Street (A121) adjacent the cricket pitch, which if travelling north towards Loughton is on your left after passing the Hawsted turning and immediately before the road begins to drop down a fairly steep hill and two 40mph sign posts. (post code IG9 5SS). Parking available.
Leave 9.00am sharp. 2 – 2 1/2 hours Steady riding mainly on bridle paths and tracks. No ‘mad downhilling’. All riders are expected to wear hard shell helmets.
