Look no further! The Redbridge Cycling Club has been based in this area since 1972 and we welcome new members. We are now based and are working in partnership with Redbridge Cycling Centre at Hog Hill in Hainault.
THE NEXT CLUB NIGHTS ARE
Tuesday 8th December. Christmas social evening at North Weald Village Hall. 8.00 pm onward. Fun and games for all, bring your own food. Licensed bar available.
Monday 14th December. Redbridge Cycling Centre. Group riding practice on the Redbridge Cycling Centre circuit 18.00 – 19.00 hrs (lights required if you are riding on the lower part of the circuit) followed by the club annual general meeting starting 19.30 sharp..
MONTHLY SATURDAY INTRODUCTORY RIDES
These will recommence February 2016. Watch here for further details. New members welcome on our Sunday Social rides during the winter months, but must have a reasonable level of fitness with some experience of group riding.

There are Sunday social rides, Saturday training rides, occasional Silver ‘taster rides’ on Saturdays for those bronze riders wishing to progress to silver (look out for these rides here and on the club Facebook page), Wednesday rides. Most starting from Redbridge Cycling Centre. IMPORTANT. All Sunday Rides leave Redbridge Cycling Centre 09.00. This Sunday (29th November) Both the bronze and silver rides go to Hatfield Heath Tearooms Hatfield Heath (Not Thurrock Thameside Nature Park as previously publicised in ‘Club Rides’). Bronze ride about 43 miles, silver 58 miles. The gold ride will be a 50 – 55 mile non-stop ride along the lanes of mid-Essex. Click on ‘Club Rides’ for more details. Saturday Morning Mountain Bike Rides in Epping Forest Meet at the north end of Buckhurst Hill High Street (A121) adjacent the cricket pitch, which if travelling north towards Loughton is on your left after passing the Hawsted turning and immediately before the road begins to drop down a fairly steep hill and two 40mph sign posts. (post code IG9 5SS). Parking available. Leave 9.00am sharp. 2 – 2 1/2 hours Steady riding mainly on bridle paths and tracks. No ‘mad downhilling’. All riders are expected to wear hard shell helmets.
