Open Road Racing
Graham Rudd contested the final sprint in a recent evening race gaining 6th place a fraction of a second behind the winner,  It was the penultimate race of a series of races on the Dunton circuit promoted by the Ford CC.
Graham performed well throughout the race, working well both on the front and in the bunch. He gave it a go to get a prime lap, but not wanting to burn himself out backed off, and came second. With two laps to go, he noticed Ryan Savage (Crest CC) try for a break, and Graham jumped across, and together that held a few seconds lead into the final lap. After some indecision from the peloton, it organised itself on the final hill to chase them down. Graham tucked himself back into the bunch once caught, and was able to contest the sprint.
