All rides leave Redbridge Cycling Centre 9.00 for 9.15am departure and then 9.30 am at Chigwell Row
Club Rides 2nd March – 6th April 2014.
Sunday 2nd March. Social Ride: North Weald Aerodrome (The Squadron Café). Two choices of distance 30 miles or 45 miles. Decide on the day.
Non- stop Ride. 40 miles.
Sunday 9th March. Social Ride: White Roding (Bretts). 43 miles
Non-stop ride 40 miles
Sunday 16th March. Social Ride: Via High Beech and the traffic free paths of the Lea Valley to the cafe at Roydon Marina. Return to Redbridge via Thornwood Common and Coopersale. 45 – 50 miles.
Non-stop ride: 40 miles.
Sunday 23rd March. Social Ride: Cooks Mill Green, The Bake House Café (On A414 midway between Norton heath and Writtle) 45 miles. Note. This ride will coincide with the club ten mile time trial where competitors and helpers can meet the ride at the café stop.
For those wishing to ride out to the club 10 mile time trial in Blackmore, (which starts at 9.00 am) either to spectate, compete in or help, there will be a group meeting at Chigwell Row leaving 7.45. NOTE the Cycling Centre opens at 9.00 amd hence leaving from Chigwell Row).
No non-stop ride.
Sunday 30th March. Social Ride: Sawbridgeworth (The Shed Coffee House). 43 miles.
Non-stop ride 40 miles.
Sunday 6th April. Social Ride: South Haningfield. The Café by the Water (Haningfield Reservoir).
Non-stop ride: 40 miles
Spring Lambs Sportive. 150km. Barleylambs Farm nr Billericay. Organised by Essex Roads CC www.essexsportive.com. Flat to rolling course with the dreaded climb of North Hill Great Baddow There are club members intending to ride this event.
Other Rides. From time to time there will be additional rides throughout the week. These will be notified on the web-site, via e-mail to cliub members and on the club’s Facebook page.
